     More Info

Super Foods include dark green plants, medicinal herbs and spices, natural food concentrates and the most nutritious kinds of fruits and vegetables.

  • Recommended Use

Mix one level scoop (provided in bottle), with 6-8 ounces of cool water. Stir briskly or shake in a closed container and enjoy one or more times a day. GreensFirst is best taken alone on an empty stomach. First thing in the AM is ideal!

For those few who still wish to mix GreensFirst with other juices, tomato juice or V-8 juice with a touch of olive oil, being very low in carbohydrates and high in nutrition, is our best recommendation. Some children and teenagers may prefer to mix GreensFirst with fruit juice, preferably diluted. GreensFirst tastes great when mixed with a scoop of a good tasting whey protein powder. GreensFirst is also very good in milk, even chocolate milk, if that what it takes to get these super foods in your kids!

    What The Experts Say!:

  • Eating fruits and vegetables, particularly dark green leafy vegetables, appears to have a protective effect against coronary heart disease.
Annals of Internal Medicine, June, 2001.

“… the current evidence collectively demonstrates that fruit and vegetable intake is associated with improved health, reduced risk of major diseases, and possibly delayed onset of age related indicators. ”
Diane Hyson, Ph.D., M.S., R.D.,The Health Benefits of Fruits and Vegetables: A Scientific Overview for Health Professionals, p.3.

Men and women whose diets were high in fruits and vegetables were shown to have lower rates of angina, arthritis, asthma, bronchitis, cirrhosis, gallstones, heart attack, kidney stones, and peptic ulcers.”
    Epidemiology, March 1998 ,Vol. 9, No 2, p 208.

" a starting point… is the regular consumption of foods that are naturally high in antioxidants and other phytochemicals (fruits, vegetables…). These foods contain hundreds of biologically active constituents not present in dietary supplements…”,
Michael Liebman, Ph. D., “Nutritional Tactics Against Cardiovascular Disease”, Natural Pharmacy, Vol. 5, No. 7, July August 2001, p 30

“ Understanding the intricate world of phytochemicals opens opportunities to use these botanicals for their inherently powerful dietary and medicinal value. Studies lend credence to their numerous disease-prevention properties.—cholesterol-lowering phytosterols, saponins, and phenolics; hormone mimicing sapogenins; blood thinning proanthrocyanidins; and eye-sight enhancing anthocyanins.” –
    C. Leigh Broadhurst, Ph. D., “Phytochemicals: The Ties That Bind”, Nutrition Science News, Vol. 6, No. 7, July 2001 P 262

“… of all the dietary factors postulated to be related to cancer, the evidence was most consistent for an inverse relationship between the risk of cancer and vegetable and fruit consumption.”
5 A Day for Better Health, National Institutes of Health, National Institutes of Health

“ A high consumption of fruits and vegetables is associated with a decreased risk of chronic diseases.”
    Journal of Nutrition, 2000, Vol. 130, Issue 6, p 1578

“ …studies show that antioxidants may help prevent heart disease, some cancers, cataracts, and other health problems…Most experts think that the best way to get these… is by eating fruits and vegetables… rather than by taking vitamin pills.”
Life Extension: Science or Science Fiction? National Institute on Aging

“Because of their safety and the fact that they are not perceived as “medicine”, food-derived products are highly interesting for development as chemo-preventive agents that may find widespread, long-term use in populations at normal risk… Many food –derived agents are extracts, containing multiple compounds…these compounds may find use as chemo-preventatives in higher risk subjects (as well).
Journal of Nutrition, 2000 Feb: 130(2S Suppli ) pp 4678-4718

Men and women whose diets were high in fruits and vegetables were shown to have lower rates of angina, arthritis, asthma, bronchitis, cirrhosis, gallstones, heart attack, kidney stones, and peptic ulcers.

UC Davis Health System, Dec., 2000.

Chlorella is the most significant breakthrough I've seen in over 25 years! There is nothing better for finally helping you feel the way you want to feel.
Michael Rosenbaum, M.D., Director of Orthomolecular Health Medicine Society.
